The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has released the results of the 2020-first series West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for private candidates.

Directing candidates to check their results on the council’s website, Adenipekun added that the pin and serial number needed are contained in the photo card obtained during registration.

He also disclosed that the board has introduced an electronic certificate management system (ECMS), a portal deployed to enable private candidates to request for certificates online.

Adenipekun said the council’s office in the country also entered a partnership with the Nigeria Postal Service (NIPOST) such that certificates can be delivered to candidates anywhere across states.

“In order for this to be done seamlessly, we have entered into a partnership with the Nigeria Postal Service (NIPOST),” he said.

“Therefore, using the expedited mail delivery service of NIPOST, candidates can, upon application and required payments done online, have their certificates delivered to them in any state of the federation, irrespective of where they sat for the examination.”
