Kwara State Governor sets priorities on Education, kick-starts renovation of 31 state-owned schools

.The Executive Governor of KWARA STATE dislosed his plans on Education in Kwara State, he made this known to the general public on his Facebook page after flagging the first phase of schools rehabilitation drive,

he said:. “Today, we flagged off the first phase of our school rehabilitation drive which involves 31 schools across the state.

We also distributed 932,572 free copies of exercise books to all the pupils in our public schools. We have since paid N450m counterpart fund to get us re-admitted into UBEC after seven years of being blacklisted.

More so, plans are in the works to organise an educational summit that will bring together all the stakeholders and private sector players to discuss the challenges and come up with workable solutions.
